What is GMO?
A GMO, or genetically modified organism, is a plant, animal, microorganism or other organisms whose genetic makeup has been modified in a laboratory using genetic engineering or transgenic technology. This creates combinations of plant, animal, bacterial and virus genes that do not occur in nature or through traditional crossbreeding methods. GMO is the same as selected breeding but GMO is an upgraded version.
We can't use GMO so we made animal and plant made of clay using our imagination.
1. Get clay.
2. Get wire.
3. Shaping the wire into a skeleton of the animal or plant.
4. Put clay around the wire skeleton.
5. Do detail on the clay model.
6. Leave the clay model to dry.
7. Paint the clay model and leave it to dry.
8. Done.
Discussion:
I learned what is GMO to show my learning I use clay to make a GMO animal. This is the genetically modified snake I give it wings because ancient snake have legs so I genetically modified the snake legs into wings and its scale become like the feather. I also genetically modified its bone to become hollow and its legs muscle to become stronger so it can fly. In real life, this would take a long time. First, you need to turn on the gene in the nucleus of the legs making you see ancient snake has legs but now it disappears but modern snakes do have a gene to make legs. Feathers are made from keratin and scale are made from keratin too if we study how a bird made feathers we can edit the scale gene code to be like a feather. For the two adaptations we can do the same thing as the feather study other animals and edit the snake gene to look like it.
